Overall

This used to be a decent service back years ago when I frequently used them to get from Stamford to JFK/EWR/LGA. Check dates of reviews - all good reviews are very old... This is most most recent and will be my last experience with this company...



My 17 yr old daughter called to make a reservation from Union Station to Laguardia. They told her that her card was declined so she was not given a reservation number or anything. However, the transaction was put through and they took her money. The bank verified that the money was already gone. They told us exactly the number of times the agent tried to put it through - the first time the agent made a typo and the second time it was authorized. I called CT Limo and was told that I had to call back later when the manager came in because that was the only person who could help me. I asked the customer service person what information the manager would need when I spoke with her later and I was told, "I don't know. I can't help you." I called back at the designated time and sat on hold for 12 minutes. When someone came on the line, I asked for the manager and was put on hold for another 3 minutes. When the manager finally came on, I explained the situation and she asked for the card number. I told her - I don't have that on me since I was not the one who tried to make the reservation. She told me to call back when I have it and I asked her if she had a direct line. She said no but she will be there all day. I said - I have already been on hold for a long time and I asked the person earlier what information you would need and I was told I don't know. She says, "Well I can't look it up without that number and I can't help what you were told." Really???? I said, "Well, perhaps you should train your service people better so that they can answer customer questions without wasting a lot of time." She told me they are very busy... So I asked her if I could put her on hold while I get the card number. She said yes and I did. She was on hold for 2.5 minutes. I came back to find that I was on hold again!. Another 5 minutes go by and she does apologize for putting me on hold because they have sooo many calls coming through. But really - she doesn't have her own line??? So, she looks up the card number and tells me all the receipts say declined - there is nothing she can do. I am welcome to mail in a printout of my statement and they will research it further. I asked where their office is and she is very reluctant to tell me where I can bring in the printout from the bank. This is a lot of trouble for me to go through for a mistake they made. I do not believe for a second that the only way to look up transactions is by the credit card number and that they can not find any that were not declined. How will they balance at the end of the day??? I told her I would post my bad experience wherever I can and dispute the charge with my bank. She told me she doesn't care because they are sooo busy anyway and it won't matter. This is a terrible service who cannot help you, put you on hold for ridiculoous amounts of time, tell you over and over how busy they are and STOLE MONEY FROM A MINOR!!

Look elsewhere

This company is the worst. It provides no support or directions on what to do or where to go when you're waiting for the shuttle to pick you up. On top of that, I came back early on my flight and they have yet to refund me a portion of the parking fee since I left their lot early. I've contacted them twice already and all they've said is that it should be posted in the next few days but I have yet to see anything (a month later!!!).

If you don't mind taking a 6hrs ride for what takes only 1hr with red dot.

Thank you so much for a wonderful enjoying trip. I rode in your vehicle from new Ahven to JFK and the driver was the best as well as the vehicles and the price.
