I'm a veteran who within the last year recently transitioned into civilian life. I saw an excellent opportunity with a lot of potential career growth. Like all federal jobs, the posting required a resume. Most federal job seekers are familiar with the complexities of the federal resume. During my time in the military I had done a lot and had a plethora of achievements to fill out a resume. However, I didn't know just how to write one with the correct format.



I called the wonderful, professional people at Career Ladders and they started the process right away. The posting that I was interested had a due date of about a week, which is cutting it a little close for writing a resume. Career Ladders told me that it would be no problem. The finished product was awesome and done in time for the deadline. While the price for the service may have been more than I originally intended to pay, it was definitely well worth it.

There are many resume writing services on the Internet, but very few know how to write specifically for federal government employment, a process much different than writing a typical private business resume. I chose this service because of their expertise in this style of writing. When I received my resume, I was not disappointed. I always have a hard time applying for jobs; I am an older disabled veteran. I used to go to the EDD offices; they never provided personalized assistance with computer, job search and resume writing. Anita showed me how to apply for jobs. We both were looking at the same page with two different computers; they both are in the same office.

I looked for a Resume Writer for over 2 weeks, so I can have my Resume done before going back to U.S.A. Some were located in Europe, other provided good prices but they did not have good customer service. Career Ladders Inc. offered me a payment plan (no extra fees) I always wanted to meet with the writer in person, but of course here in Afghanistan was impossible to find some one. So I contacted Career Ladders they offered me to meet over skype. I can't wait to get my resume done. Whenever this happens I will let you know.

Do not use this business. I had a horrible experience. They were late, the quality was poor and they refused to let me speak to the resume writer. A waste of money.

I arrived in the office of Career Ladders and enjoyed the atmosphere of soft music, a comfortable seat, and undivided attention. I was provided with an overview of their services which included determining a career goal through a their career coaching techniques. After discovering an exciting new career goal, we then proceeded to begin the resume development process. I was interviewed for 1.5 hours and was amazed at how much better I felt at knowing I had some great gifts and talents. I was told that the interview served as a dual purpose: a) it builds confidence b) it prepares you for an interview. After my visit, I was totally convinced that I came to the right place.
