Better Home Appliance

In my dealings with this company I have found them to be Unreliable, undependable, and untrustworthy.

The company (A Better Home Appliance), business address unknown, repairs refrigerators in Mobile and Baldwin counties in Southern Alabama. They repaired our refigerator on December 26th, 2008 by replacing a relay, overload protector. The repair man's name was "Murray". Murray also told us that we needed a new flapper for our ice maker, but he would have to order the part. He added the cost of the flapper and installation of it to the bill that he presented to us, telling us it would be a couple of weeks to get the part. Total cost of the repair was $472.25, of which $39.00 was for the flapper and its installation.

The flapper was never deliverde or installed. Repeated phone calls to the company, A Better Home Appliance, and conversations with the owner (name unknown) have brought nothing but false promises to refund our $39.00 that was added to the repair bill. The owner also told us that Murray was no longer with his company. In every phone conversation, and there have been at least ten of them, he has promised to send us a check for the $39.00, but has never sent one. Today, he said that he would not send us a check. We are looking for nothing more than the amount that was added to the bill to repair the ice maker. We seek no refund or discount on the parts and installation of the parts that was done.

The owner has been rude and beligerent in our conversations and has belittled us for seeking a refund of such a small amount.

After two months of waiting the repair is not correct
