I am the owner,bookkeeper,technician...etc. In other words,if you call Arundel TV & Video, you will talk with me only.I will be glad to answer any questions or concerns you might have.I will always try to offer the personal service that is often lost in other large companies.If you want to set up a service call,please have the make,model,and a description of the symptoms you are experiencing.Some TV problems can be repaired in-home.Some require a second trip to get the nessessary parts,and some require taking the TV or chassis to the shop. Not bad....I was suprised that it was cheaper to fix my LED TV than to replace it.....I was looking at a new set but he came back with an estimate of $175 which was 1/3 the replacement price.....Honest.
This guy knows his stuff...

Steve came out to home in Annapolis to service an issue with my Sony TV in July of 2012. It is now November and the same issue has come up again- blinking light, no picture. I called Steve to discuss the issue- SHOCKED!! This company does not provide customer service for their work after hundreds of dollars were already spent with them only a few months ago!! I was told it would cost me $90.00 to come to my house and even check to see if it was the lamp. Steve said " I am not wasting an hour- I'm not working for free"... whatever happened to customer service?? POOR SERVICE- NO WARRANTY!!
Actually after Mrs HEAT101 explained the problem she was having, I explained to her that the symptoms were DIFFERENT than her original problem,AND if it is a DIFFERENT problem there would be a charge. I do stand 100% behind my work when I am responsible.

PRO: Quick service and very polite and competent owner.
CON: Not a traditional commerical business -- runs out of his garage.
OTHER: Didn't bother doing a price comparison. Called the first guy on the list who was close by.
TOTAL BILL: $90 parts and labor.
I had a thermistor burn up on my Phillips CRT television set. Basically the TV overheated and it no longer powered on. I called Steve at Arundel TV and was able to drop it off same day. You pay a security deposit up front which gets credited to your final bill. Not being technically saavy I was willing to pay for the speedy service. Overall I was very comfortable with the service. What this business lacked in the big showy atmosphere of a traditional store, he more than made up for in his good customer service. To be honest I found myself trusting the owner more than I would some corporate weenie at a big name store.
