Artistic Floors Houston

I would recommend Artistic Floors to anyone. They repaired, replaced boards, refinished, my old hardwood floors and installed a new hardwood entrance. In addition, they installed slate on my front porch. My floors look better than I ever imagined that they would. They were great about cleaning up after themselves and they worked on the weekends when bad weather delayed the beginning of this project. They are not inexpensive but I believe that this was money well spent.

Artistic floors got the job done in time and meet my exaptations I'm happy with the job done!

Do not do business with Artistic Floor. Just like what one of the reviewers said below, Esteban will tell you exactly what you want to hear. In my case, Esteban swapped his people with day laborers when I was not there. He initially told me that refinishing my floors will take no more than 4-5 days, but it ended up taking almost 3 weeks because there were days where they don’t show up or Esteban would me back 3 hours later with some excuse. I also had to redo parts of my floor because the stain have dried up improperly. I’m extremely unhappy with their work.



The good reviews below must be fake and done by the same person because the wordings "...respected..my home" are used on all of the only good reviews.

The work was professional and done in a timely manner. Artistic Flooring completed wood and tile flooring along with a tile countertop. Everything was done to my specifications and the workers respected my home.

Artistic Floor just recently finished installing wood floors in my home. I have to say that I am very pleased with the floors. The crew that installed my floors was polite, respected my home, and cleaned up after themselves. I am planning to installed wood floors in the second story of my home and will be using Artistics Floors for those floors also.

Hire them! They do excellent work. I didn't have any of the problems the other reviewers claim. The people I know that have used Esteban with Artistic Floors have been more than thrilled. His crew respected our home and cleaned up after they left. We didn't have any dust or mess. The floors look great! It's nice to see a contractor that cares so much about the quality of his work.

Be very cautious about using Artistic Floors. In fact, I would say avoid them as I'm sure there are other contractors out there that will have better service. I used them to install wood floors in my downtown condo. The owner tells you everything you want to hear in the beginning and talks about his website and the mayor's home that he did a while back, however the product you get does not live up to this hype. The managment of his crew is suspect at best. I got the impression that they were learning on the job. There were numerous corners cut and there was an overall lack of care when installing the flooring. My walls were essentially ruined all the way around from the base up to 6 inches from dings and sloppy application of the sealant. Once the job is completed it is impossible to get a hold of the owner. I had to have another company clean up the mess that Artistic Floors made.

Be warned! My husband and I were impressed with their website and thought this company does quality and dependable work, but made a mistake by not checking their recent references. The owner of the company cuts a lot of corners and forces his workers to do a poor job.
