Disappointed to say the least, I went in to get a prescription for my sick father a few days ago and right off the bat was aggravated. No place to park, mentioned it to the cashier who proceeded to tell me that in 3 of the 6 or 7 tiny parking spots were THE OWNERS VECHILES... Hmmm, that shows you care for you business, how about leave the prime parking for the people who patronize your facility?? Next, I was told it wasn't ready yet and it would be another 25 minutes even though it was electronically received an hour prior to that. Again, the cashier said due to the new and improved computer system the wait time was longer. Next, I heard the pharmacist talk to another lady about her script, her medical condition etc...... PURE VIOLATION of this woman's privacy. The staff behind the counter was even worse, I watched them laugh and joke around, order lunch, touch each other, make fun of another customer with a clear disability, and all WHILE COUNTING DRUGS!! It was the most unprofessional display I have ever witnessed. When I asked for a manager I was told there wasn't one there at the time....what?? How do you run a business with no management?

I will be taking all my parents scripts to the new rite aid. It's quiet, private and professional not to mention plenty of parking. I've also convinced several other residents where my parents live who were contemplating leaving Alitons to transfer out of Alitons as well. My story convinced them it was time.

I have to tell you about my experience at Alitons Pharmacy. From the minute I walked through the door - I was treated with the best possible customer service there is. In a day and age where people tend to forget about "the customer" - it was a nice change to go to a place where they smile, greet you, and call you by name. These people bent over backwards to get approval for oxygen for my father-in-law. Exceptional. The employees were very knowledgable, I was impressed with the different types of medical gadgets they had in the store for dad. They had a showroom of products on display, so I could see how these products would benefit my father in law. It was great, great great.
