By virtue of its name, people always think bedbugs are found only in beds when, in fact, they fit anywhere their bodies can be hidden and they are as thin as a sheet of paper. They are found in all kinds of furniture, electric appliances, clock radios, computers, printers, behind pictures, books and, of course, bookcases. They are found in cracks and crevices in the wall and within walls as well as in electric outlets, wiring, pipes, plastic and metal conduits. Bedbugs may enter your home undetected through luggage, clothing, used beds and couches, and other items. Bedbugs do not have nests like ants or bees, but tend to live in groups in hiding places.

Termites
Termites cause over 5 billion dollars in damage to homes and businesses each year. They infest structures and do more damage than fire, hurricanes and tornadoes combined. While homeowners insurance will help cover losses from natural disasters, they almost never cover termite damage. In South Georgia, we have one of the highest concentrations of termite colonies in the country. There are on average, 8-12 termite colonies per acre in our area. That’s a lot of termites.
Bed Bugs
Bed Bugs (or Cimicidae) are small parasitic insects. All insects in this family live by feeding exclusively on the blood of warm-blooded animals. A number of health effects may occur due to bed bugs, including skin rashes, psychological effects, and allergic symptoms. Diagnosis involves both finding bed bugs and the occurrence of compatible symptoms. Treatment is otherwise symptomatic.
Fleas
Fleas are one of the most troublesome pests that attack humans and their pets. These small reddish brown insects use their sucking mouthparts to ingest blood. Their bodies are flattened from side to side, which allows the creatures to move quickly and easily on its host. Fleas are known for their amazing ability to jump in order to reach a desired host. These attributes cause humans and their beloved pets to become prey for these pests.
Cockroaches
Pest pressures are particularly high in South Georgia due to our warm climate and high humidity. Additionally, pests such as roaches and mice pose potential health risks to your family. Roaches and their droppings contain allergens that can trigger asthma attacks in children and roaches are known to spread numerous types of bacteria. Mice commonly carry diseases such as salmonella, hantavirus, leptospirosis, and the plague. Our technicians will tailor a pest control program for your particular needs so you can enjoy a healthy, pest free environment.
