        WKRN is the ABC local television affiliate that provides news, programming, entertainment and information to residents of the greater Nashville, Tenn., area. WKRG, which broadcasts on channels 2 and 27, began operations in November, 1953, as WSIX-TV, the second television station in Nashville.The station is owned and operated by Young Broadcasting, a holding company which has 13 television stations throughout the United States. Young bought the station from Knight-Ridder in 1989.

        Poor news operation. Why do they even bother. They try new gimmicks every month. Can't stomach their anchors or reporters.
