Like many former athletes, I suffered broken noses as a result from competition. For years I struggled with limited breathing capacity through my nose and subsequent sinus infections. Although I adapted as best I could, I was always aware of the severe breathing limitations. Finally the nasal obstruction was beginning to have adverse effects on other areas of my health. My blood pressure has dropped. My snoring is all but eliminated. In the words of my doctor, "It's been a game changer." When the final sutures were removed, I cried.
