It serves more than 700 children and adolescents in over 15 counties of Tennessee in cooperation with the Tennessee Department of Mental Retardation Services Medicaid Waiver Program. The organization offers family support, respite and independent support coordination programs. The Arc of Davidson County serves nearly 400 individuals with severe disabilities in Davidson County, Tenn. It also receives grants from the state of Tennessee to provide financial assistance services for emergency respite care. Its respite program includes various day and before- and after-school care services. The organization is located in Nashville, Tenn. The Arc of Davidson County is a chapter of The Arc of The United States, which is one of the largest membership disability organizations in the United States.
