Gray Line

Took an excellent tour this morning with Barry our driver. He was full of info. that he shared and he did an excellent job driving all around road construction but still letting us view the monuments and tourist spots. We toured the Ryman Theatre and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Both excellent spots. Our afternoon tour sucked. Grand Legends. Our tour guide thought he was a singer and rather than sharing any valuable info. he sang songs (not very well) and sang more songs. Is he the Grand Legend (in his mind?) The only thing of value that we did was do a backstage tour of The Grand Ole Opry. James (our tour guide) did not lead that tour thankfully. We did a boring tour through the Gaylord Opry hotel. No time given to shop or enjoy the place. Took a boring tour on a small boat in the hotel. Would have been much nicer to have free time and walk through the hotel grounds and flowers, trees and shrubs. Worth viewing but not at this pace.
