General Info
As a fourth generation Floridian, and lifelong South Florida resident, fishing is my passion. My earliest memories of fishing date back to when I was just five years old, fishing South Florida waters with my dad and grandfather. By age 12, my first boat allowed me to fish between Naples and Marco Island every chance I got. When I was 15, my grandfather introduced me to the Everglades National Park where I became infatuated with its striking scenery and vast abundance of wildlife. It became my goal to learn every square inch of it. 30 years later, I am still learning! I really enjoy being a guide and meeting all of the different people from around the world. I take great enjoyment teaching people who have never fished and teaching them how to catch fish and of course showing them the unique Ecosystem of the Florida Everglades. I have fished with seasoned tournament anglers, as well as families who have never fished before. I especially enjoy helping children catch fish. There is nothing like seeing the face of a child catching a fish for the first time. It reminds me of the first time I taught my two daughters how to catch fish. It's a memory that you and your child/children will never forget!

On your Everglades Fishing Adventure, you will be fishing aboard my Pathfinder 2200 Tournament Edition boat. This boat offers a very comfortable ride, and plenty of deck space for you and your fishing party. The boat is 22' long and just a little over 8' wide, so nobody will be cramped when it comes to space. My boat is powered with a 150 HP Yamaha Four Stroke engine and equipped with a Lowrance GPS/Chart Plotter, Lowrance Color depth finder, standard Horizon VHF radio, and of course all of the required Coast Guard safety equipment. Aboard Everglades Fishing Adventures, you will primarily be using Star Rods, equipped with Penn Reels. I use a variety of different baits and tackle depending on the time of year and species of fish we are targeting. My boat is equipped with a significant amount of live well space, in the event that we choose to use live bait for targeting your fish. I also carry a large amount of artificial baits such as soft plastics, plugs / lures, jigs etc. With the gear and tackle that I have, you are certain to have a fun and successful fishing trip with Everglades Fishing Adventures!
