Napa Valley Traditions

It is a nice experience if yiu have time to kill while visiting napa. It is pricey so one would think the food would be good. Unfortunately, it isn't worth the money but! It is a fun experience and a cool way to see napa.

Fun experience. If you've never done this, it's worth doing, especially if you stop along the way at some of the tasting rooms. However, once is enough.

My husband and I did the Wine Train for dinner. It was such a romantic evening in the Dome Car. Each course was beautifully presented and even better tasting. The lights outside sparkled as we passed the different cities. Going to the wine tasting bar car on the train was a lot of fun. I can't believe the wines they had available to taste! We will definately be going again and recommend it for a relaxing romantic evening of amazing food and wine.

We had 12 people in our lunch party. We started with wine tasting in the main hall served by waiters moving through the crowd.

The meal was excellent. I recommend the Beef Tenderloin. It was served in the Dining Car, after which we moved to the Dessert Car where I had the chocolate cake.

The service is excellent! The views are absolutely stunning.

I would recommend them for a small or large party, or just a date.

It is the second time I've been here and I plan on coming back for more.

I took my management team to lunch and it was fantastic! The service and food was over the top. The train is fun with great views of the valley. the cars are beautiful and comfortable. Can't wait to go again.

Recently had the opportunity to ride the Wine Train. It was a great experience! We were able to ride through Napa Valley through the vineyards, sampling wine and enjoying an exquisite lunch. Kelly, the head chef, did an outstanding job and was very personable too!

I enjoyed having lunch in a dining car, then moving to a dessert/coffee car for the return trip. It was a great change a scenery, with a fabulous view and wine, food & drinks the entire time!
