        Overall

        First, every hotel in Myrtle Beach is called d a resort. This was the noiseist hotel I ever stayed in. "Newly renovated" really means "work still in progress". There was drilling and hammering all day long everyday. When we called to complain of the noise because we wanted to relax on our vacation, we were told the workers are almost done. But they continued to drill away in the room next to us. Horrible service on the front desk part. Then something else they don't tell you or you will never see in the brochure is that the hotel is in the landing and take off path of the airport and helicopter tours. So all day and night there are planes and helicopters flying over head. Not small planes either. There were military jets, cargo planes and commercial jets flying right over the hotel. No sleeping in past 7:30AM on vacation. The only good part was the pier being right there.
