Where do I start? Got engaged in December and booked this venue January 6th. He pressured me into getting a "package," which consisted of two, one for 2,000 and the other 3,000. I did not like either package and they were not suitable for my wedding. So we paid for things a la carte. Next thing you know in May I am being taxed for the venue, his day of coordinating, his staff, which was all paid by my family. Next, he was upset that I had bought all of my decorating items for the wedding.
* Day of the wedding I met the "staff." I thought it was going to be professional servers, I was wrong, it was his 10 year old grandson, his own son and daughter in law and his wife! They did nothing! They served the food, they didn't clean the plates off, food was left on most of them.
*When we cut the cake he came up and asked who's gonna cut the rest and serve??? I paid for servers?
*Later that night my groom, the Djs and myself wanted to eat around midnight and what do you know... He gave his family a thousand dollars worth of food - we had nothing. He put the food in Tupperware and they left at 10pm.
*While we were dancing in the back room he sat in the corner by himself watching everyone... Extremely creepy.
*His wife was extremely rude to my family.
Needless to say I was left with cleaning the venue the day we were suppose to leave.
I'm telling you future brides looking here for a venue. Don't do it. You will be talking to your lawyer filing a lawsuit just like me for breaching contract and damages.
It's all about the money. He lies and does not keep his word. And he's a pastor in Tulsa?

I went to a wedding this past weekend and was so excited because the home is so nice. I have a total different feeling of the home now. The owners were so rude, and didn't follow thru with the things they were to handle for the Bride and Groom. The couple stayed the night in the home and had to get up and wash and pack the dishes up before they could leave for their honeymoon. The owners also took the left over food and gave it to their family that was catered in by a third party. This is not a place I would recommend to anyone.
