Brentwood Extended Care & Rehab

My husband has been there since February of 2017. I started good but for the past month or so it really started going down hill....FAST!!!! For a majority of the time he has been CONSTANTLY late for his hemodialysis treatments. I have had several repeat conversations about the matter with the administrator. For the past year plus he's been there, he has yet to receive either restorative or physical therapy sessions. He's had to wait over an HOUR to have his blood sugar checked (as he is a fragile brittle diabetic), he's a high fall risk patient and has been left alone constantly when in the shower room taking his showers. I'm about to have another repeat conversation with her as well about the restorative or physical therapy. When I talk to the administrator about something, she'll tell me she'll fix it, BUT IT NEVER GETS RESOLVED!!!! I have to do it myself, by constantly riding their behinds about it till something finally gets done!!!! I am at the point to where I don't know what else to do. They aren't totally following his treatment plan and they aren't taking care of him properly. I'm about to consult with an attorney to see what I can do about the matters. I'm at the end of my rope, highly pissed off, frustrated, upset, and ANGRY with this facility. If you place your loved one here, please consider or expect to feel how I've been feeling the last few months. Please ask thorough questions, do your homework. Do NOT let the administrator talk over you when addressing concerns or your frustrations, as I have encountered that every time I have to speak with the administrator. I'm learning to you have to more than stand your ground. they have implied that my husband has lied about a few things. so far I've been able to prove he's been truthful about what he tells me, his wife.
