Highly recommended. This is the only doctor I've seen who spent over an hour and half at my initial appointment to get a complete history and review treatment plans, and also spends enough time with me at other appointments to answer all my questions.

I don't know what the earlier reviewer is talking about. My prescriptions are usually taken care of in an hour or two, but you can't always expect the doctor to be available to handle them. Sometimes there are also problems at th pharmacy which need to be taken care of. In comparison a few of my previous doctors would take one to two days for refills and one even tried to charge $25 for calling in a refill.

I also appreciate the fact that Dr. Chusid took care of me when in the hospital. Not many local doctors do that any more. It also helps having many of the tests done in teh office, saving me from waiting around at the hospital, which can really take a long time.

Took someone to him for his 1st appt and he was there for over 2 hours. He is very SLOW at things and if you need refills on anything, it takes ALL day for the office to fax an RX over. Called this morning to get refills on this person syringes and they told me the pharmacy had to fax something over to them. Called Chusids office over an hr ago and NOTHING was done. So glad I found a different dr for this person. Would not recomment Chusid to anyone.
