Straight Edge Tattoo and Body Piercing

OMG! I am so thrilled with my new tattoo! Chris took the time to listen to what I wanted and made great suggestions. The staff was a lot of fun to talk to. I will never go anywhere other than Straight Edge and will always use Chris.

I have had two tattoos of lotus flowers done by him and I was beyond impressed by his work. Not only did he do a great job, but it healed perfectly by his recommendations. I wish I would have known his work before I had my previous work done. Will is an amazing artist and I will never go anywhere else !!

I am a bartender and I have gotten tattooed at straight edge for 3 years now by William Wood. William Wood has done one cover up on me and 7 other tattoos. The work that he and the others have done is amazing. I have won many awards from tattoo conventions and other tattoo contests. The shop has many awards from different tattoo conventions all over there shop. In fact when i travel to other states and walk into other tattoo shops, down the street, at work, Walmart, grocery stores, etc. i have people ask who did the amazing work! Can i take a picture of your art work! It feels good when you walk into a tattoo shop in another state and they ask who did the work and tell him his artwork is amazing. It use to be my finance that was asked about his tattoos but now its me. I am currently working on my leg sleeve that i am competing with in April at the Tattoo Horror Festival in Nashville,TN. I am hoping to take first place but i do have a tough competition against Cheri who gets tattooed at Straight Egde and always wins just about every contest she enters.

I've been getting tattooed by Will Wood since 2006 and still get work done by him to this day at straight edge. Great shop with exceptional artists. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get work done. Don't settle for terrible tattoos when you can get works of art!

I've gotten tattooed at this shop for the past few years, on several different occasions. I exclusively use Will Wood as my one and only ink guy. He has done everything for me from roses for my daughters, a full half-sleeve cross with complimentary artwork, an asian-inspired piece on my other arm with a phoenix, dragon, and script. On my calves, he has done portraits of my children on one leg and portraits of characters from the series 'Spartacus' on my other. His work is impeccable. The coloring, shading, creativity, and the ability to take my idea and create an incredibly unique piece is a talent like no other. Not only that, but the portrait work he does is some of THE BEST in the business. They are incredibly life-like, the best shading and filling and line work you will ever get. I've not only used him exclusively for the past 6 years but also have referred my family and friends to him -- even my wife who has gotten incredible lotus flowers done by him. We constantly get compliments for his work, coloring, shading, and creativity. Overall, I love the staff at Straight Edge as well. All the guys there are incredibly cool to be around. The owner, Chris, is very laid back, friendly, and a great artist as well as all the guys are. The shop is always very sterile, clean, organized, and efficient. I've never had any issues with my tattoos, during healing and have never needed a single touch-up on any of Will's work. He goes out of his way for his clients to not only make them feel comfortable, but also has become friends with many of his clients (me and my wife included) because he is not only an incredible and talented tattoo artist, but a great person. I can't speak highly enough of Straight Edge and the work that the entire team does there. 5 of 5 starts and would (and have) personally recommended this shop to ANYONE.

I had my first tattoo done in December. Now I have three. The staff is super friendly and fun. They were very patient and enthusiastic about doing my first tattoo. Will has done all of my tattoos and you will NOT be sorry to allow him to be your artist. I am recommending him to all of my friends. The shop is clean and professional. I am very pleased with my tattoos and designs and have NO disappointments. I really hate to let out a great secret!! WILL is great and will do an awesome job!!! You will not be disappointed!!

Straight edge is the best shop by far. Their staff is super friendly and helpful. They are some of the most talented artists in TN. Will is amazing. You will be happy with any work they do. Straight edge is definitely one of the better places in Tn to get tattoo artwork done. The artists are professional, have tons of awards (for obvious reason) and the shop is clean unlike a lot of tattoo shops can be. i would recommend Straight Edge to anyone looking to have ink done.
