This place is definitely the best bakery within 50 miles of Bellevue. The fudge pie is to die for snd have I mentioned the cut out cookies. Please take the trip you won't be disappointed.

I have shopped here several times and every time I swear I will not return. Their customer service is horrible! You are never greeted nor do you feel welcome. No one is eager to assist you. It's as if they don't care if they get your business. Yes, their items are tasty but not worth the "cold shoulder" that you receive.

I have been a customer of Julia’s Home-style Bakery even since they have been open. In the past 3 months I have spent over $300.00 in baked goods and cakes. I had ordered my sisters 18th bday cake there2-3 weeks in advance. It was just supposed to be a 8in round cake with pick icing and black zebra stripes all over. I even attached a picture with my order. 4 hours before I am supposed to pick up the cake I get a call from the cake decorator saying that it is not possible to put the stripes on top of the cake because they use a stencil. Well no one told me this when I ordered my cake so now we have to figure out over the phone what to do on top of the cake. My mother called the decorator back and finally decided on a rhinestone “M” topper for my sister’s name to go on top. But it was going to cost us another $15.00! I had already paid $72.00 for this cake and now I am going to have to pay for their mistake? Then the decorator told my mother that she talked to the girl who took my order and she said that she told me that the stripes couldn’t be put on top and that she gave me an alternate price for the stripes to be put on of the cake with fondant…. This never happened. Finally we just said whatever we’ll pay the extra $15.00 even though we didn’t think we should pay it. When we arrived to pick up the cake all the black lines were smeared with the pink icing and there was a dent in one of the black lines where someone had hit it with their finger! It looked like my 2 year old niece had played in it even the worker said it looked bad. The sweet girl who took my order helped us when we got there and told me that she NEVER talked to the decorator that she wasn’t even in the bakery that afternoon and that she forgot about the stripes not being on top and she did NOT quote me a price on fondant. So the decorator lied to us and Julia when she talked to her about the order earlier. The girl called Julia but she was on her way to spend time with family so all Julia offered was we can take the cake and get the “M” for free or we could get our money back and leave the cake. My mother had the girl call Julia back and ask her if she could talk to her or if she could make another cake by Sunday (12/4) that we could pick up? All Julia had to do was come in and decorate the cake the girl told us the cakes were already made in the back. But we got a big NO! and Julia told the girl to refund our money and for us to leave the cake. It’s really sad that we didn’t nothing wrong but were still left with no cake for my sister’s 18th birthday party. We had to go to the local mall and get a cookie cake because no other bakeries were open in time for the party… Julia wouldn’t even talk to us to let us tell her that her decorator LIED to her about our order and that her own worker said the cake looked horrible! Julia could have came in early Sunday morning before church and decorated the cake if she actually cared about her customers. I would really like her to put herself in our shoes and how would she feel if this was her daughter’s cake or lack thereof for her daughters 18th birthday party. I will NEVER spend a penny at this bakery again!
