This a wonderful VA When I was late by 1/2 they did not tell me to come back in six months. They where kind and said we will still see you.

My father just died and as a family we went to his room. while standing there grieving in shock the cold unkind head nurse i had been exposed to the day before told my husband in police uniform straight from duty that he would have to leave us and be escorted by security back downstairs because he had his weapon, with no regard to our situation, Her " i'm sorry" never reaching her eyes. We as a family understand rules but she had NO compassion whatsoever. All the other nurses are amazing there, there are none better. Security is amazing there also. totally not their fault. This one woman is a blight on them. I ll be making a complaint to the hospital naming her. She was cold and curt the day before too. I asked her a question the day before and she answered without ever making eye contact. to be told she was in charge was shocking. All nurses there are kind and compassionate. Maybe they should have her take a course in humanity and bedside manner. We are devastated and to have her coldness on top of that is too much.
