I am not really sure where to start... we just moved to Tennessee about 6 months ago...before we moved here we contacted Comcast to ensure that we would have cable, Internet and phone set up when we got here. First of all we had to pay for everything upfront...including installation, that should have been my first clue. The installer first of all brought out the wrong equipment...for a job that should have only taken him an hour or two...well he ended up being here close to five... We were supposed to have DVR....what a joke...you can either record a show or watch a show...come on Comcast...catch up with the times. Next, the modem was huge and blinked all night long, made our bedroom look like an airport landing strip...
So one of the things that I remember seeing in their advertisements was, they have a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee...What a joke!!! I cancelled the service within the first couple of days...within the 30day window. Received a receipt showing that the equipment was returned in good working order, and was told that the full amount would be refunded within 4-8 weeks. Well here we are 4 months later...and I have yet to see my refund. I have filed a complaint with the attorney generals office in Nashville, Tennessee, received a call from Comcast and was promised that the refund would go out in the 15th, and it was NOT sent out, now they are saying by the end of the month.
I really hope that Comcast reads their reviews...and I hope that this review helps someone...
