I had been going to the salon off and on for about a year. I always went to the owner of the salon, Shanna, she wasn't ever professional but her work was good. I always would come in about 10-15 mins before my appointment so I could get comfortable. The first few visits I was the only client she was working on and I had her attention. She started to lose her control of time and I was sharing my appointment with other people. One visit she had me in the chair and a guy came in and she didn't say anything to me about started cutting his hair. Yes, it was a quick cut but it was my appointment and I didn't even know that I was going to share. Other times I would come in and Shanna would be just starting to cut someone's hair, that can't be finished in 15 mins! The price was great so I continued to go back until the last visit. I'm getting married in less than 5 months and I wanted to setup a consultation. One of my bridesmaids lives in Ft. Wayne and wanted to come to my consultation as my second (third if I count the stylist) opinion but she could only be there if the appointment was Saturday or Sunday. I called and asked for a weekend appointment but I only got excuses; this weekend is my kids birthday, next weekend is my husband's birthday, and the following weekend is Halloween... I reassured her that I wouldn't mind waiting a month for an appointment but I just wanted to get it booked so I could ensure we had plenty of time to play around. I heard, "No, I don't want to wait that long, how about you come in on Tuesday? I have time available at 6(pm) let's set that up." If Shanna isn't going to setup on my time, I will take her time, I said OK. So, Tuesday comes I show up at 5:45 with my laptop that has the different designs and I start looking through the design books at the salon. I notice that no one is around, I begin saying, "Hello" suddenly from the back room 2 other stylists appear and say that Shanna had left to pick up her son. They reassure me that she knows that she has an appointment and that she would be back so I wait (At this point I'm starting to sound like a real push over but I'm not from around Muncie and finding a new stylist is scary business) and wait and wait, it's about quarter past and the girls come back out saying that they will call her cell phone and find out where she is at, the phone rings and rings and rings, no answer. The poor girl was getting embarrassed and I was getting frustrated. I put everything back, the girls offer, if I want to wait a few more minutes they will try calling again. I wait, like a sucker, and they call her (remember this is the owner of the salon) and now the call goes straight to voice mail. The girls ask if I wanted to setup another appointment with her later in the week. I declined asking that she call me and I might setup an appointment with her later. I never received a call. She didn't need to call me and tell me what happened but I would have appreciated a call and an apology for missing the appointment, I got nothing. I wouldn't ever recommend anyone put themselves through that torture, finding a new stylist is easier than putting up with this salon.

These girls are very professional. The cuts are great and at a very reasonable price. They are on time with appointments and the salon is very nice.
Would highly recommend!!
