Premier Smog

* Fraudulent business practice. (Most expensive Smog Check in town).



This smog check station bait and switched. When I brought in my car for a STAR smog check they agreed to perform the service at the website deal, $28.95. After the service was performed, the business switched me by rejecting the coupon given that the coupon was for a regular check only and my car required a STAR check. I was not notified before they commenced the service about the cost difference.



When I complained, they offered to take off $20 from the final price. Put in an awkward situation, service was already performed, and under distress I accepted the offer. Upon return home I called other smog locations just to find out that there is NO special price for a STAR check. Next day I reached out to the business asking to adjust the price. The business said that it was my fault to agree to a higher price and their rent in my city was too high to comply with my request.
