Absolutely horrible, don't go here.



All I was trying to do was get an older iPhone with an particular version of the operating system on it. They flipped-flopped for weeks saying they could do it, then they couldn't. They never called me back, I had to constantly call them,staying on top of them, basically doing their job for them. I think even at Walmart they know that if a customer is waiting for something you should call the customer back when the item arrives. I was asking to have OS version 4.0 installed on a phone, they couldn't even remember what version I was asking for. I mean if they know they have problems with details then maybe they should write things down? Open up Excel, put in the customer's name and what they want/ Problem solved. How hard is that? What kind of tech person doesn't appreciate the difference between 3.13, 4.0, 4.1? If someone is asking for 4.0 it's because they have a good reason. What a joke. Not to mention the endless delays, excuses and what has to be lies. Every time I called them there was some problem, the techs didn't know what they were supposed to do, their address got updated and delivery was delayed, it was endless.



But what really irritated me and made me write this review is that Vash, who is like a manager there, said he finally had a phone for me. I was satisfied to just get a refund and move on at that point, but he said he had a phone for me, an iPhone 3G with 4.0 for $400, Kinda high, but it's hard to find and I would get a warranty. So before Labor Day weekend I said great, I'll pick it up when it was ready. He took my number and said he would call me, which he never did, of course. So after Labor Day weekend I called back and they said they sold my phone to someone else because I didn't get back to them in time. What??? They were suppose to call me but instead Vash decides to punish the customer by giving the customer's phone to someone else? Watch out, when things get difficult here they take it out on the customer. They said they left me a voicemail. I never got a voicemail. These guys never called back at any time. That was just a lie. And it doesn't even make any sense. Who would buy an iPhone 3G for $400, except a developer like me that has a specific need for an older OS. So Vash is either a Jerk or a liar, take your pick. I kept after them for weeks and even made a deposit on my credit card so he knew I wanted that phone. Pathetic behavior. And on top of that he lectured me about how much this request was costing the store. What kind of manager says that to a customer? What the h*ll do I care? They don;t know their jobs well enough, what they can and can't do, and he wants to say I am responsible for that? If you can't do something just say so.



SOLUTION; Don't go here. Nothing but aggravation and excuses. Go to FastRepair in Palo Alto instead. They gave me an older phone with an older operating system the next day. I had another similar request that they couldn't fulfill, they told me the next day they couldn't do it and that was it. They didn't string me along for weeks and then blame me for their incompetence and lecture me on what I was costing their company. The phone I got was in great condition and is fully functional.
