As a former employee for little giggles daycare I can say that I would NEVER recommend the place to anyone. It is a complete joke!! THERE'S NO STRUCTURE! Kids run the place. The owner only cares about making money. NOTHING is about the kids (except her own) who by the way are perfect angels, NOT! The daycare is not equipped for special needs children such as autistic, behavioral issues, etc. there are quite a few children in the facility that need extra care that they don't get which in turn disturb the rest of the daycare. The food is ok but SUPER UNHEALTHY. Ramen noodles n canned food is not something I'd want my kids to eat everyday. The owner gets mad when employees make extra food so kids can have seconds n thirds. She also WILL NOT inform parents of the childrens behavior and lets everything slide because she's afraid of losing money. NOTHING is updated, it's not a pa stars program facility. All toys are ancient and they DO NOT get cleaned/sanatized. I can keep going but I think you get the gist! DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO TURN INTO MONSTERS!

We have 3 kids at Little Giggles. This is definitely the best day care on the mountain. The prices are fair, the activities are great and keep our kids interested and involved and the teachers we have met have been awesome too.

I am not impressed by this establishment. They seem to have large turnover of staff and / or not enough staff. When you walk in you hear the staff complaining. I also feel there's no structure here. Too many kids of different ages in the same room. How can you supposively teach pre k courses when you can't even hear yourself think with the amount of children in one room. Arts and crafts are great but they are not going to teach the kids numbers and ABC's. The school district is always changing their studies and if the daycares aren't keeping up with the pre k programs out there, the children will be behind before they even get to Kindergarden.

I would consider other options before choosing here. The rooms are not broken down very well according to ages. The back infant room is ages 6 weeks to 2 years. the front large room is 3 year olds to 12 year olds. They do have a room off the kitchen which is not used often. They don't seem to have the staff to seperate the age groups appropriately. This daycare is not that large and unless they put some walls up, there's no way to seperate the kids. When the older kids are in school it's not a problem, however there's before school, after school and summer when all those kids are in the same room. Look around, you'll see better choices.

My daughter went to Little Giggles from ages 2-4. We loved it there. The staff is friendly, attentive, they use kind discipline, and Kelly Billing the director is amazing! The kids have a blast there with all kinds of activities and a great playground.

Let's do some math friends, Since September 2011, there have been 22 reviews for this daycare. Out of all 22 reviews, 15 of the individuals were from outside of the Mountaintop area... mostly near Pittsburgh! Let us subtract 15 individuals who, unless drive 3+ hours each way for child care, probably don't actually have any children attending this establishment. That leaves us with 7 reviews from the Mountaintop area... of those reviews 2 were positive and 5 were negative. If you don't feel like doing the research yourself, I did it for you:
Eva j. Buena vista pa.
Bonnie n. Ravensdale Washington, but 3 other reviews she wrote were about businesses in TX.
Dv p. Monroeville PA
Pennsylvania s. Ambridge pa
Lynn s Charleroi pa
Tammy P. Philadelphia pa
Lyndsey C. Pittsburgh pa
Nurse p. canonsburg pa
Nancy s. Washington pa
Matt M. Pittsburg pa
Zachory w. Allison park pa
Delightful a pittsburg pa cc
Vaughn m. east Stroudsburg pa FC QV
Sweet girl Harrisburg pa QV, MEdi help, CC
Taylor s, Roxbury pa
You might notice some notes.. oddly enough a vast majority of these individuals also reviewed a place called Cocoa Couture in Hershey, PA, Medi-Help in Pittsburgh, PA, as well as Queen Village Animal Hospital. -- I wonder what is the relation.
It does not feel good to be scammed. Children 2-12 in one room with inattentive staff is not my idea of quality child care.
Full disclosure, I no longer live in MT. But I used to be an employee.

Thank goodness there is another daycare opening on the Mountain soon that is owned and operated by a local family on the Mountain. That at least will give people other options besides here. This facility and the practices are outdated. Arts and Crafts are fine but kids need to learn other things to keep up with the new ways they are teaching in the schools. Not to mention more than 80% of reviews on this site are from out of the area, Allentown, Phillie, Pittsburgh, and oh yeah California. Obviously everyone who attends here moves out of the area as soon as they are done. Or the owner has alot of family. Need I say more.

My daughter is far ahead when it comes to math and reading from her Kindergarten class and that's mainly due starting early learning at Little Giggles. The staff truly care about the kids and makes sure that they have not only the best care out there, but the most supportive for both the kids and the parents. I could not recommend Little Giggles anymore!

I absolutely love Little Giggles and so does my son. When the time came for me to send my almost 2 old off to daycare, I was so afraid that no one could care for him as well as me . . . Wrong! Kelly and her wonderful staff do an amazing job attending to the children and their individual needs. Big thanks for taking such great care of my son!

Our 4 year old daughter has been going for the past year. They have been doing a great job teaching her new things and keeping her interested. The staff really goes out of the way for the children, I am so happy I found this place and my little one is too!

We love Little Giggles! Our kids have been going there for a few years now. We have never had problems with the staff or anything. Some days my kids are so excited to tell me about what they did when I pick them up! I think our little ones are well taken care of and are in good hands when they are here.

I am so shocked and disappointed to read some of these negative posts! I have put 3 kids through this day care thus far and feel like my kids were always very well taken care of while they were there. We no longer live near Mountain Top, but I sure wish we did, Little Giggles is one of the places I miss most!

I understand the need to have a nanny cam, but those are expensive! I would rather the money I pay to towards activities and the healthy food the children are given. I also really like how parents are encouraged to drop in, although I have never felt that my kids were mistreated or were shown anything less then love and care. My daughter gets excited to come play here and its very helpful for me!

Little Giggles provides age appropriate activities and healthy meals. They encourage parents to drop-in and out at anytime and this make me feel very comfortable that the care is always exceptional. The rates are also very reasonable. I honestly can't say enough good things about her and the service Little Giggles Day Care provides.

We have been taking our daughter to Little Giggles Day Care for 4 years and I couldn't be happier with the care they provide. They have become like a member of our family and treat our little girl as such. Little Giggles is very organized and the daycare is extremely clean.

Little Giggles works out for our family because you choose the hours that you want. My little girl loves coming here for play dates with her friends 2 times a week and it is also convenient for when I have long errands I need to take care of.

My twin boys are so happy here. They learn so much through out the whole day and during family time at home they tell us all about their day and what they have learned.

Little Giggles is the best. I wish I could be as patient as they are with kids. They have taken care of both my children and i know she has helped them become awesome little people. I think that says it all!

Little Giggles has that rare talent to be able to care for and keep happy many children. In my 1.5 years using her, I've never observed a child left unattended or in need of attention.
