Terrible lawyer. Will keep your retainer fee, and then not show up. Malicious during a divorce. (I.e. Making opposing spouse sign documents/agreements that are invalid in court, convincing spouses to put kids in the middle even when it hurts the child, talk badly about the non custodial parent, and steal any and all money, if any, the children receive). Went against her as a plaintiff in MULTIPLE hearings and she never bothered to show up to represent her client in 9 out of 10 hearings. Will not answer your calls or messages. Recently suspended by the Board for misuse of client accounts at Mercantile and Isabella Banks. Gossips about clients and private information with other clients and even the people she's going against in court. All around terrible person and lawyer.

I have known Renee professionally for over twenty years. She is honest, sincere, professional , and relentless. She explains the law carefully in terms that even I can understand, and from what I hear she always wins. I wouldn't think of using another attorney .

As a divorce lawyer, she's probably the one I would want on my side. She will encourage clients to do anything to try to get revenge on their exes. She encouraged one client to keep savings bonds belonging to his 19 year old son. It may be legal, because the father's name was also on the bonds, but they were given as gifts by family. How low must a lawyer stoop to keep evil lawyer jokes entertaining? I hope somebody on the state bar association reads this and has some input to give.
