Star in a Castle horror movie! All you have to do is give them your money. Then watch while they install broken windows in your house. Then listen for months to them making excuses for why they can't repair or replace those windows. Don't want to star in this movie? Then get replacement windows from someone else!

If your looking for a reliable...

If your looking for a reliable window install company DO NOT call CASTLE. I spent over 12k to install new windows and TWO of the windows linked and completely ruined my automated blinds. Additionally, one of the windows came in cracked so I'm still waiting for them to come back to install the window which is now 5 months later. Yep. 5 months later and a whole lot of bullsh*t excuses my windows still leak and the job is still not complete. Do you want to do business with a company like this...I don't think so. Sharing so you don't have to have the pain.k

Castle Windows is definitely a first choice to consider if you want to replace your windows. I called them after checking out their website, they took real good care of me. I didnt know much about windows so they sent a guy over to show me some options and he suggested Bow windows for my living room, which I fell in love with as soon as I saw them. He made some measurements and set up a day for the workers to come in and install my new windows. The best part is the number of payment options they gave me because I dont have the best credit in the world. The workers came in right at the time I had asked. They were very nice and knew a lot about the windows which was a pleasant surprise. They finished all three windows a lot sooner than I thought they would. I am so happy with the work they did and I am now going to call them to replace the windows in my newly remodeled kitchen.

When the 3 workers showed up at my house at 10 am to set up the new windows they worked diligently for nine hours until 7pm with no breaks In between. They were very hardworking and polite. When there were problems they fixed them with no complaints. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs window replacement.

Castle had an ad in the local clipper magazine for $175 windows. I phoned and asked if I could get the $175 windows, that I needed 6 windows, size 48" X 36". The young lady on the phone said that price is determined by the size and features. I told her that I didn't want any special features, just a double pane window, size 48" X 36". She said that the basic window would cost $175. I said, great, that's what I want. She scheduled an appointment for the next morning for a salesman to take the measurements and give an estimate. I asked about the senior citizen discount mentioned in the ad. She did not know anything about that. She asked for my phone number, my email address, if the property is owned jointly, if I'm married, my wife would have to be present. I said that I was single. This was beginning to sound like I would be in for a high pressure sales pitch such as with the time share vacation deals or the arm twisting of a car salesman.

The next morning a salesman rang the bell. He immediately said that there is a wedding bend on my finger, and that my wife needs to be in attendance for his presentation. He stated that he was going to his car to get his bag of items for the presentation. I said just come back with a tape measure to measure the windows, that I don't need a presentation. He became indignant. and asked if i wanted to save on energy costs. I said "no", I just want the advertised $175 windows". He said the $175 price is for small windows, like for the basement. I said that that's not the information that was given to me on the phone. He said that if I refuse to sit through his presentation that I would have to speak to his manager. He dialed up his manager and handed me the phone. I told his manager that I don't need a presentation, that I just want the advertised $175 windows and handed the phone back to the salesman.

He was on the phone for a few minutes and then turned to me and said that my windows are 60" and don't qualify for the $175 price and he headed back to his car. I shouted after him, that the windows are 48" X 36". He continued walking back to his car. I shouted after him that Castle is a fraudulent company with false advertising and that he should be shamed of himself.

If you want a slick salesman trying to coerce you into buying a $1,200 window and wasting hours of your time, then call Castle. If you want windows at the advertised price, go to another company.

I filled out a window inquiry ...

I filled out a window inquiry online to get estimates, and I got 5 calls. 3 of them were from castle. They ticked me off by calling me at 10 a.m. on a Sunday morning. Then they called me twice within 2 hrs. today (Monday). So the third time I finally answered. I told the woman hello, and she introduced herself as being with castle windows (she had previously left a message on sunday which was non-understandable) I told her I was not interested because the house I needed windows for was in a different state "Well which state we have branches in 13 states" I told her I'm just not interested. "Well which state?" she repeated. I am semi-frustrated because ya'll have called me 3 times within 24 hrs. "Well, that's how we do things we get the number off the internet and call them." Well I'm just not interested "Well, what were you looking for?" I'M NOT INTERESTED. Angrily she replied with "well have a good day then" and hung up.

I work in the food service industry. If something says they don't want food with their drink or a drink to go with their sandwich you don't try to force them into having one. Like I said out of all 5 calls 3 were from that one woman with castle. All of the other companies called left intelligent understandable messages and then haven't tried calling me again. She was rude and just wouldn't take no as an answer, and after seeing all the other reviews for this company floating around the internet I am so glad it didnt go further than a phone call!

Castle Windows

I had new windows put in by Castle Windows in 2006. Each year I have to put plastic up to the windows because the wind blows into my house. I paid $10,000 for my windows it should not be drafty and my curtains should move from the wind blowing. I would not recommend the windows at Castle Windows. The sales person told me I would save 50% on my electric bill, so not true. Buyer be ware.

Call Someone Else.

My wife and I spoke to three different companies and I wish that we had made a different choice. Things started out well with the sales person who told us that we could finance through them without putting a lean against the house since we were looking to refinance soon. Which we found out later that they did and almost hurt our changes to refinance. Then he told us that our payment was going to be one amount which we agreed on and signed the order for new doors and windows. However, when the person came out to do the measurement and to sign the bank papers, which were at a lower intrested rate, the price was $100 high then what was agreed upon. We then spoke to the owner and he said that it was to late to cancell the order and that he would see us in court. We did get the work do and had to pay more then what we agreed upon but not the higher number after fight with the owner for days. When the works came out the do the job, of which is still not finished, they let a mess and some of their tools behind for us to clean. We are still in a ongoing fight to get the work finished and to have our floor repair from which they damaged.
