He has been a talented stylist/hair colorist in Westchester NY since 1981.Â By the age of 25 had earned a position of VPÂ atÂ Adam and Eve of Scarsdale. During this time, Ricky was an Associate for the ArTec Colorists CollectionÂ and platform artistÂ for Aveda appearing numerous times at the International Beauty Trade Show in NYC.Â Now certified as Wella Master Color Expert, Ricky services his clients on a daily basis and looks forward to platform artistry once again.Â Ricky has a flair for curly hair. Sporting his own curly blonde locks, clients with curls immediately become confident that he understands their needs. Curls aren't his only forte'. Ricky is proficient with highlights, color blocking, marketing, business building, education, hair styling and color.Â In 1996, he founded Baliage Hair Salon in Hartsdale, NY. Angela also Graduated from theÂ Wella World Studio in Soho NYC as Hair Colorist in 2010 The education offered there is top professional both in USA and Europe. Some of the progressive classes Angela took include Advance Color, Color Correction, Balayage, Essential Foiling, and Essential Color. SheÂ graduated as one of the talented Wella Master Color Experts. She also attended advanced styling and cutting for both men and women. Her education didnâ€™t stop there. Hair Straightening
Better known as a chemical straightening treatment. Ammonium ThioglycolateÂ solution breaks down the bonds of the hair and restructures the shape whenÂ neutralizedÂ with an acidic solution. The process leaves the hairÂ permanentlyÂ straight for 3 months. You must wait a minimum of 48 hours to shampoo after a conventional relaxer. For optimum condition and to ensure predictable results, other chemical services should be performed 1 week prior to or after this procedure.

Once the hair is dry, the Stylist will divide the hair into four sections and begin using a flat iron to further straighten the hair in 1 - 1Â¾ inch sections.

Keratin Treatment
The misconception of this process is that it is a relaxer or straightener. It is not. It is actually a smoothening treatment with variations in result. This process works differently than relaxers. When hair is damaged the cuticle becomes cracked and broken like the shingles of a roof. The Keratin and Keratin with collagen fill in the rough surface of cuticle. The hair is blown and flat ironed at 450 degrees, sealing each strand and smoothing out the cuticle surface. The result is soft hair that reflects light, shines and becomes significantly healthier, relaxed and smooth. ExcessiveÂ porosityÂ isÂ diminishedÂ thus cutting drying time in half. The process takes about 2-3 hours and the hair cannot be shampooed for 1 day. Coppola keratin treatment requires 3 days before shampooing isÂ recommended. During that time, under no circumstances shouldÂ you use clips, ponytail or barrettes, as they will leave a line of demarcation. Â Keratin treatments are safe after color services and last up to 3 months and significantly reduce drying time and difficulty controlling curl and frizz.Â
