They suck. The long and the short of it: They told me my glasses would be ready in 7 to 10 days. It actually took over 3 weeks. They lied to me about why the glasses were late. (They said it was because of a blizzard, but I checked and there was only a snowfall of about 6 inches--not enough to make my glasses take 3 weeks to get made!) They also said they were open Saturdays but in fact are open only every other Saturday. They are untrustworthy, their customer service is nonexistent, and they don't care about any of it. I will never go there again. Don't say you haven't been warned!

Over charged! The receipt is so unclear they don't even know what they charged me! Called to clarify the "wife" was totally rude and disrespectful ! Was told one price was charged hundreds more. Didn't realize it until I recieved my insurance statement. I guess doc and his wife are more concerned about vacations and wine tasting as the entire office is decorated with tacky photos of them at Señor Frogs and wine bottles! Totally tacky and inappropriate for a medical office!

Best eye exam

I had been going to one of the box stores for my eyes for years then moved to Mt Joy. After the move I wanted to change my eye Dr to someone close by and stumbled upon Dr Hope. Best eye exam I ever had. It was amazing how much better I could see after he prescribed my lenses. Who'd have thought.... I have been going there ever since. Going on 10 years now. I highly recommend

My family and friends have been going to hopes vision for years and they treat us just like family! The staff always have a positive attitude and they have a great selection of frames to chose from! Great pricing too :)

Great experience @ Hopes Vision

Hopes Vision was truely a great experience for me. I always hated going to have my eyes checkled but Hopes Vision changed my outlook on going to the eye doctor. They have a new machine called the Optomap that takes the place of dialation and that is always a plus in my book! To make a long story short, i would recommend everyone to hopes vision!

I recently had and exam at Hope's Vision and received some of the best service I have had at a doctors office. Front desk employees were very nice and the doctor was great himself. I'd refer all family and friends!

Most unprofessional doctor I encountered in my life. Not only do they act like it is above them for management to call you back when you have a problem but Dr Hope himself speaks poorly of his peers. I couldn't believe the content that came out of his mouth and the blaim he placed on a local, well respected doctor. He actually got in a screaming match with me when I tried to discuss a reoccuring, well documented problem. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER will I go back!!! Between the doctor and his trophy wife, (the office manager who is NEVER available), and their fancy showroom it's obviously all about the money and not about the patient. They say they treat patients like family, if that’s true that’s one family that belongs on the Jerry Springer show!

On May 9th, I ordered $599.92 ...

On May 9th, I ordered $599.92 worth contacts with Hope's Vision with understanding that I would receive a $100 rebate with manufacturer via a phone call with customer service agent at Hope's Vision. I received my receipt and the information regarding the rebate in the mail on May 11th and noticed that the rebate was for only $25 so I promptly contacted Hope's Vision and cancelled my order prior to ever receiving them. At that time, I also requested a copy of my prescription mailed to me. It should be noted that I still have yet to receive a copy of my prescription in the mail.

On May 16th, I went into Hope's Vision to pick up a copy of my prescription which they claimed was "in the mail." I was then given the wrong prescription not once but at least 3 times that very day requiring me to personally visit Hope's Vision as well as call Hope's Vision several times from Costco and have Hope's Vision fax info to Costco several times in order to fill my correct prescription. I also confirmed that my refund was being processed accordingly both in person at Hope's Vision and then later on the phone that very day. Both times I was told my refund is being processed at once and I should see my refund within the "next week or so." It should be noted that I even provided Hope's Vision's receptionist with my credit card info over the phone once again as requested so that Cathy could promptly process the refund on May 16th as she forget that they did not have it on file and needed it to refund me.

A week later, I began calling in attempt to connect with Cathy who processes the refunds as I seriously question if she started to process the refund. It should be noted that she has yet to call me back. Instead, I received a voice message from the office's receptionist stating that Cathy has processed my refund and that it should take two weeks to process on May 27th.

Now, I seriously wonder if she has the correct information to properly process the refund or if she ever did it in the first place as it is June 14th and I still I have yet to be refunded my $599.92. In the past few days, I have attempted at least 3 times to get in touch with Cathy as I have been told she is the only one who can assist me in such a matter, and I am always told that she is either "not in" or "with a patient." Each time I have left a message requesting a return call and still I get no response and I have yet to be refunded.

Sadly, it got to point where I had no choice but report them to the BBB.

If you desire to work with courteous and competent professionals, go elsewhere. FYI- Costco has great rates on exams and prescriptions/ contacts.
