Hair Vibes II

Please do not go to this salon - they ruined my hair and they don't know how to fix their own messes. I've never had to write a bad review, ever, but my experience here was so bad that I would hate for it to happen to anyone else. I had an appointment today with Jordan at 11am for highlights. I brought in multiple pictures and even pictures of myself to specify exactly what I wanted. After sitting down I noticed a strong mary jane smell from Jordan. I decided to not mention anything and continue with the appointment. Jordan did the balayage and put toner on it...she left the toner on 6-7 minutes and to made sure she watched the toner so that it doesn't turn ashy. When we got back to the chair it was clear the color was terrible. Usually, when I have my hair colored no toner or glaze is used...usually these are only used if the color doesn't turn out right, leaving me to believe the highlights didn't even start out right to begin with and the toner made it even worse. Jordan even admitted that the color was wrong. Her chair was covered with cut hair from other people and it was disgusting sitting there at a dirty workstation. I tried to be polite and joke about how I have dogs like she does with hair all over so that it wouldn't be awkward, but it was just plain gross sitting there. Jordan then had to put a bleach wash on my hair next, which itched like crazy and made me break out in hives by the way, and we again went back to the chair. The color of my hair was now orange. She tried to dry it and say that it was wet and that's why it looked orange. Nope, when it was dry it was still orange. So we went back to put a third toner on it. This time the toner took out all of my dimension and my hair was still orange. She then tried to cut my hair and she cut my bangs so short and crooked that I can barley sweep them to the side - even though I brought in a picture of myself with the long side swept bangs that I wanted. She told me to go home and see how I felt about my hair, and to call her tomorrow if it wasn't right. I got home and my mom immediately gasped because my hair was such a disaster. I called back and they told me that I could come back in. Jordan tried to foil my hair and add dimension back, but it only made my hair splotchy and didn't fix the orange. None of it worked, and after 4 toners, 2 rounds with foils, 2 rounds with balayage, and probably 8 washes, they said there was nothing more they could do and that they would give me my money back. The owner couldn't even tell me this herself. I asked them what they expect me to do to fix it, my hair is so bad that I don't even want to leave the house or go to dinner (we had plans tonight but I had to cancel I was so embarrassed and upset). They had no clue how to undue what they did, and said I'd never be able to get back to where I was when I came in. Upset, I went to the front desk to get my money back, and the assistant had the nerve to only give me part of my money back! She was still going to charge me for the disaster bang cut, even though I had already spent 7 nightmarish hours here. Finally she gave me all of my money back, but what they didn't compensate me for was my time, ruining my hair and for taking away time from my family. My hair was washed and colored so many times and my scalp hurts so bad that I'm worried my hair is going to fall out, and frankly they made me feel like crap. Even the owner admitted it's bad color, and that I'd have to spend a fortune trying to fix it somewhere else. Maybe another stylist would have worked out better. Don't pick Jordan! She is clueless and seems to be on something. Please save yourself the trouble, heartache and $200 and go somewhere else - it's not worth it, trust me.
