84 Components, the manufacturing division of 84 Lumber, is one of the nation's top manufacturers of metal plate connected roof and floor trusses and wall panels. The Mount Airy, Md., manufacturing facility is one of 84 s 500 stores and components facilities nationwide. Each 84 Components facility utilizes state of the art manufacturing technology, such as MiTek design software, computerized saws and specialized jigging equipment, to accurately cut and build each order. Founded in 1956 in Eighty Four, Pa., 84 Lumber provides a number of other services to contractors, including 84 Travel, a full-service travel agency, and 84 Homes, which offers a full line of floor plans and estimating services.
