As summer comes to an end we would like to recap on some of our summer events. This year our office went to the UCLA Dental Symposium conference in Hawaii to expand our education and advance our knowledge and skills in dentistry. Some of the topics at the conference that we found to be valuable for our patients were updating perio health and all ceramic implants. In the conference on perio health and procedures we learned some updated information on regenerating tissue. We were also educated on all ceramic implants and discovered with this implant there are no prosthetic connections where bacteria can grow. This can lead to better gum health and the implants are 100% white.

They have a movie system, but I'm not sure how that works or if they have movies to chose from. They could explain that better. Also, they went out of their way for me multiple times. Before I was even a patient I ended up hiding out there from a rain storm and they gave me cocoa and dried my baby's blanket, and let me wait until my friend could pick me up. Teeth Whitening
Zoom is a bleaching process widely used to lighten discoloration of enamel and dentin. Discoloration is caused by drinking coffee, tea, soda and red wine; or from smoking. The Zoom in-office tooth whitening procedure uses the Zoom Advanced Power Chairside Lamp that accelerates the bleaching process and activates the 25 percent hydrogen peroxide whitening. As the hydrogen peroxide breaks down, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin to bleach the stained substances, leaving the structure of the tooth unchanged.
