Platinum Car Wash

BE AWARE!!!!!! READ THE REVIEWS ON ED ADOMAITIS BEFORE YOU GO THERE!!!!

Brand new original BMW mats and ashtray were taken from my car during the detailing at PLATINUM CAR WASH in Morton Grove (replaced with used ones). The manager ED ADOMAITIS insulted my intelligence telling me that these are mine and he removed them and put them back personally. This review has nothing to do with people who work there.....the management is the problem!!!! How sad that he has to steal.

I came back with the police. It was not resolved...his word against mine. Police officer advised me not to use my good energy on this.

Have I read the reviews first, I would have avoided the loss... He has done it to others. He runs a little business on the side - removes parts of the car and steals what he can. Just be aware. I don't want anybody to go through this.

Very bad service. "Overseer" does not assist workers and very rude. Not a thorough wash at all. When I advised manager Ed Adomaitis the issue he quickly brushed me off and dismissed me. Was not interested in fixing issue that could have been resolved with a wet rag. Avoid this car wash at all costs. Especially minorities. Very bad service. Very slow. Value is terrible. Better quality at a gas station. Company lawyer advised me to write my experience to better business bureau which I intend to do today.

Poor training of management. Car wash was OK. The female clerk at the cash register and even the boss didn't seem to understand the difference betweeen a credit and debit card. I used that card since my wife was in NYC running up a huge bill and I did not want to confuse the credit card system on use of the card that weekend. While I was waiting in line they ran my debit card twice as a credit card (it says debit in clear print without asking me the password) and locked-up the account. Then then they announced to the customers that they were "cutting the card in half" since I had bad credit - what drama! The serious part is that they screwed up the card, held my car in hock, made me walk a mile to Chase bank for cash to get the car out of hock an hour later. As an author I will have fun talking about these guys all over the U.S. and China to thousands of marketing managers and students about poor customer service.

Iam writing on behalf of my mother. My mother went there three times. and each time the workers there stole thin gs inside her car. It could be her money and anything they that they like , they will steal. She complain to the management, He does not do a thing about it....... Mom stop going there. If you re smart you should too.
