Over worked and under paid. They do not go by the rules of the hand book. I have to have hothands to work. Its pathetic and you should only get a job there if its a last resort. They pick favorites and the place is full of whores and druggies.

Koch foods is basically slave labor. I got hired through a job service for $8.10 and hr. The service told me after 60 days I would get a substantial raise an they offer benefits. Finally I found out the raise was .50 sense and hr. To get this $8.60 an hour you stand at a line and cut chickens up in 40 degree temp. for 11 hrs. a day 6 days a week.Your breaks are for 10 minutes,which start from the time you leave the line. By the time you wash up and get off your working garments you have only 5 min. for your break. They don't pay you for lunch and they don't even provide there employees with refrigerators for there lunches. There is no way we could ever pay for the benefits with this pay and I would never have time to go to the dr. anyway? I left after 1 day with a bad cold that I am still suffering with. They have a huge turnover and the man giving us the walk through lied saying the reason for there huge turn over way due to people either not being able to stand the smell or the cold temp. I could smell nothing foul and if you bundle up the cold isn't that bad. The reason for the turn over is due to the extreme work for such little pay. They could keep employees who were healthy enough to stand up under the physical abuse if they paid $14.00 and hr. Most places pay more for much better working conditions.This is pathetic and unrealistic. This company sells to KFC,Wal Mart,Applebees,the troops to Iraq,and places over seas. This company has plenty of money to pay there employees what they deserve. A workmen is worthy his hire. I would not recommend this company to my enemys let alone my best friend.
