North Coast Medical is a privately held, family owned company specializing in the manufacturing and wholesale distribution of rehabilitation products, specifically items utilized in occupational therapy, physical therapy and hand therapy. The company is comprised of five divisions, including medical, consumer, international, dealer and ergonomics divisions. The medical division is the most significant, serving the rehabilitation market on a direct basis and the dealer division was established primarily to promote the retail sale of proprietary products through pharmacies and home medical equipment stores. All divisions share internal resources, such as facilities, manufacturing, warehouse, customer services and accounting. Established in 1974, North Coast Medical has headquarters in Morgan Hill, Calif.
