Monterey Restaurante Mexicano

Was at the Mooresville Location last night and had a BOGO coupon. Buy one entree get one free with the purchase of two drinks. We got 1 lg beer and one margarita but then they wouldn t honor the coupon saying it didn t include alcohol. There was NO manager on site so the server handed me a phone??!! I told the "manage" ( if that's who she was) r that the coupon did not specify alcohol not included and she replied with "everybody just knows" ! Also, they didnt have any Cuervo Gold for margarita s. Food was just OK ... But any restaurant that won t honor their coupons .... JUST DON T GO !

I went to the Monterrey restaurant with a buddy tonight. The food was ok with the exception of the METAL STRING from a can that I found in my beans. When they brought out the owner, he acted like I planted it. It was clearly a bit of the can from when they opened it. I did get my food replaced, but no compensation!!! No free meal, no 10% off. I had to pay full price for eating a piece of metal! With the complete disregard for food safety and lack of customer service I will never eat at this excuse of a restaurant ever again.

If your looking for Mexican in Mooresville, this is it! I KNOW good Mexican, and although the food isnt authentic, its better than most of what you'll find in NC.

Monterrey is one of my favorite spots for Mexican in Mooresville. The atmosphere, service, and food quality is so much more than you would expect from a shopping strip restaurant. I've never had any problems at Monterrey, except trying to decide what I want to eat.
