This clinic has been so helpful to me over the last year. The doctor is very professional and seems to actually listen to me and my family. I have had a rough time finding a doctor that actually cares and is thorough in diagnosing, referrals and follow up care. The clinic staff were very nice, explained to me what my insurance would and would not pay for, gave me great information in regards to my diagnosis and treatment recommended. My wait was short from waiting room to exam room and from exam room to the doctor coming in to talk to me. I am so happy to find such a practice for my family!

I moved to the city last year for college, so I switched my Primary Care Management to this office. During my first visit, things went alright but I felt that most of the employees had a bit of a rough edge. The staff at the desk were impatient with my paperwork, even after I explained that that was the first time I had ever had to fill out paperwork and visit a doctor's office by myself, and that I wasn't sure what to do. They rushed me through my "first-time-patient" survey and finally a nurse came to take me to Dr. McCreight. I asked conversationally if they were very busy that day (because there had been very few other patients in the waiting room), and the nurse just brushed off my question rather rudely and told me where to go. I waited for about 10 minutes before Dr. McCreight came in and began to ask a bit about my medical history and prescriptions. I'm a severe migraine patient, and when I began to explain what treatments had been tried and what medications hadn't worked or had caused a bad reaction, she interrupted me to inform me that I was very young to be a migraine patient, and that it was probably me inflating my headaches because I didn't know what real pain was. She kept leaving the room to see other patients, and then coming back to me as I was attempting to fill her in on my current prescriptions. She brushed aside my questions when she was prescribing me a new medication, directing me to have blood drawn. I wasn't sure why because she didn't explain anything. I had to ask the nurse that drew my blood, and she was surprised that I asked at all. She said "you should KNOW why you're having blood drawn. ALL new patients have this done." I had no idea because I had always been to military doctors, where records are always available and there aren't any "new-patient" processes. The phlebotomy room was pretty cramped and unsanitary as well. She had to move sideways to walk past me. When I requested that she draw the blood from one arm (because that's where I've always had it drawn from and it's less uncomfortable), she didn't listen and took it from the other arm anyway. She didn't cover my arm with gauze or a bandaid either.
That was all for the first visit. On the several visits I made there later on (trying to give them another chance to prove they were actually a good practice), Dawna McCreight was just as rude and unhelpful as she had been the first time. She prescribed me prescriptions that were waay stronger than necessary (deep muscle relaxants at twice normal strength for a sore elbow...?), rather than trying to determine what was wrong. When my migraine meds became less effective, she took me off of them completely and sent me for an MRI (if you've ever had an MRI, you know how bad of an idea that would be with a migraine), then refused to send me to a specialist when I requested it. She never listened to any comments or questions I had, brushing them off to tell me what I should do or to assume that I was just sore because I'm a college student, since apparently we're always complaining about something. It felt like she just wanted a list of my symptoms so that she could put me on meds to make it "feel better', rather than treating the problem.
All in all, I would never, ever recommend anyone visit this practice. The nurses are rude when you question anything they say, Dr. McCreight is rude and highly unprofessional (and will probably over-medicate you), and the place isn't exactly using sanitary methods, at least not to draw blood. It's unorganized, and I also never felt like anyone there cared about my health at all.

This place was great! Best of both worlds. One doc is allopathic and one is homeopathic. i would recommend to anyone. The staff was very friendly and the doctors were great! Very caring and family oriented office!
