Swintec Corporation was founded in 1978 with eight employees and a line of electronic calculators. Since that time, Swintec progressed into its 50,000 square foot New Jersey headquarters and introduced its first line of electronic cash registers and its first electronic typewriter. Other typewriters were later added to its line, including models with memory and parallel ports for use as computer printers. Swintec has been named to the INC. 500 as one of America s fastest-growing privately held companies. The company also received single source contracts from the federal government. In addition to typewriters, word processors, calculators, shredders, cash registers, printers and copiers, Swintec s product line includes laser-printing supplies for a variety of manufacturer s models as well as printers, multifunctional machines and digital copiers. Swintec has locations in New Jersey, Texas, California, Ohio, Florida and Alberta, Canada. Swintec is headquartered in Moonachie, N.J.
