Lauri Welteroth Contemporary Dance Center

This is the finest dance studio and instructors in our area! My daughter loves attending dance here and has been for over five years.

LKW Dance Center has a fairly large presence in the Montoursville area, so we decided to check them out personally. As concerned parents we really want to know who is going to work with our kids.

Well, we had the opportunity to meet and talk with Lauri Welteroth personally. We are glad we did, because it was such an extreme turn-off for my husband and I, I really don't know where to begin.

First, and this may sound judgmental, she was wearing a baseball cap, sweat suit, and must have been draped in at least $50,000 in jewelry. Who dresses like that at a first-time meeting with parents at a restaurant?

But it was her attitude that clinched it for us. It's fairly easy to tell when someone is "talking down" to you, and Lauri is a master at it. She was dismissive, condescending and arrogant, saying things like, "people like you," in regards to us affording to do business with her, etc.

I don't want someone like this around my kids, sorry. We are VERY happy we went with Duane & Kellie Gordner of DK's Studio of Dance in Hughesville, PA. Great people and wonderful with our kids!

My Daughter started when she was about 3 years old and is now 15 ! The studio is her second home.. The teachers are Fantastic, the facility is beautiful, they offer so many different classes and the owner Lauri is just the sweetest person ! the kids love her so much !!

So lucky to have a studio like this in our area. Lauri is frequently there to greet the kids & makes each one feel welcome & special. All the instructors are great & we have happily been returning for 10+ years. I couldn't imagine sending my girls anywhere else.

Thai studio is amazing. From the owner lauri who loves these children as her own to the amazing teachers who love what they do. Keep up the great work!!!
