Founded in 1985, the Recovery Center is a part of The Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse of Sullivan County, which is a nonprofit community-based agency. The Recovery Center features a 15-plus-bed primary care unit and halfway house. It offers a range of programs and services for the treatment of people suffering with alcohol, tobacco and gambling addictions. The center also provides various outreach and support programs for HIV and AIDS patients. The Recovery Center organizes several summer camps and family programs, as well as offers community education services. Its health care services include mixed support group, individual counseling, staff training and home visits. The center is located in Monticello, N.Y.
