Poor cleaning and rude to the employees.... Won't call them ever again

While searching for a home cleaning service, I checked with MooreMaids. Unfortunately, I could not even get them to give me a quote! They told me the cost for the first cleaning (perhaps a little high at $180, but still reasonable), but when I tried to get information about followup cleanings, they would give me nothing. They insisted that they do not offer any quotes until after the first cleaning. I informed them that I did not need a quote, only some non-binding range of what followups could cost. Nothing! Even when I told them that they were losing my business as a result, they still refused. NO OTHER CLEANING BUSINESS THAT I CONTACTED HAS SUCH A POLICY. I guess this is a caveat emptor situation. The followup might cost you $5 or it might cost you $5000. You will never know until you shell out the initial fee. Seems a bit shady to me.
