Located in Montgomery, Ala., Goodwyn Junior High School provides academic instruction in language arts, math, science, social studies, industrial technology, art, music, world languages, reading and computer technology. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as band, choir, orchestra, theater and art. In addition to its core curriculum, the school offers family and consumer science classes. Goodwyn Junior High School offers various sports activities, such as volleyball, football, basketball, track and field, tennis and golf. The school has various clubs, such as a student council and National Junior Honor Society. Goodwyn Junior High School has a parent-teacher organization that supports volunteer programs for underprivileged children. The school is a part of Montgomery Public Schools.
