        Monroe Recreation Department is one of the city departments of Wisconsin. The department offers more than 100 year-round programs and services for youth and adult residents. Located in Monroe, Wis., it serves more than 3,000 individuals. The department s programs include summer playgrounds, teen trip adventure, sports mania, team sports instruction, swimming activities, adult fitness, hiking and sport programs, and adult and family trips. It also hosts Halloween parade, Easter egg hunt, fall flag football, fall and winter basketball league, arts and crafts competitions, and cooking and babysitting courses. Additionally, the recreation department oversees the maintenance of more than 100-acres of property, including parks, playgrounds, recreational spots, and athletic fields. Monroe Recreation Department provides online information, and distributed brochures to public and private schools.
