I contracted with GrassChopper Landscaping, Inc. in Monroe, NC (Daniel Osipov) to deliver and spread 11 yards of mulch in my yard this past week. I complied with Daniel’s request to pay 50% as a deposit with confirmation that the mulch would be delivered on Thursday. On the day of delivery, I expressed concern that the amount delivered looked to be less than 11 yards (probably more like 9-10 yards) and Daniel agreed that he too thought it was a “bit light”. After distributing the mulch, the yard was still about two yards short of mulch. Daniel agreed in text that he would return the following morning with another two yards of mulch and provide it at cost and would put it down for free for a total cost of $80. After taking off work and waiting all day Friday, no mulch was delivered and no one would respond to my voice messages or texts. Finally, on Saturday, after three more failed calls, I stopped payment on the final check issued in hopes that would force someone to contact me to explain the missing mulch delivery and lack of contact. The strategy worked as I began received less than professional responses from Daniel. I was shocked to learn that Daniel did not think not showing up on Friday or even contacting me was a big deal. In order to end contact with GrassChopper as quickly as possible, I re-issued the check for the original load of mulch and I am now working with a second landscaping company to finish the work (remaining 2 yards of mulch) that GrassChopper had committed to, but failed to complete. Please stay away from this company as it will not be worth your frustrations!

We hired this company to completely maintain our lawn. When we bought the house there has never been any lawn maintenance on the property and it was in a very rough shape. Since GrassChopper Landscaping started maintaining it about a year ago the lawn has blossomed and now we have the best law on the street. My neighbors always made fun of how bad my lawn looked and now everyone asks me who does my lawn because it looks amazing. I would recommend GrassChopper Landscaping to everyone! They are dependable, professional, and honest. Very pleased with my service.

We have had GrassChopper Landscaping maintain our property for over 3 years now. Their work is meticulous and customer service is outstanding. They always return all of our calls and address our concerns. We have done multiple yard projects with them. They removed some huge oak trees for us, re-designed landscape of our property and built a gorgeous retaining wall for us. I would highly recommend them to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely loved working with Daniel and his crew. Professional, reliable and honest. They did an amazing job on our yard project. They removed some trees, shrubs, mulch, and sod, helped us redesign the landscaping of our yard and recommended what we should plant and what would look best. We are so happy we took their advice. We hired Grasschopper Landscaping to cut down a few huge trees for us. They did an amazing job. The job was done very carefully and my yard looks amazing now. I am very thankful to have hired this company. They carry liability insurance which a lot of companies don't incase anything goes wrong. Everything went well with the job and I had a piece of mind. I am looking forward to working with them and doing more work to make my property stand out and look great.
