Second Missionary Baptist Church

Second is among the Monroe community's oldest houses of worship. Recently however, church welcomed the Rev. Allen C. Overton as it's newly elected spiritual leader. In the two (2) years since Pastor Overton (as he is known among his congregation) took the helm of Second, the church has experienced an unprecedented growth. I very much enjoyed the services and will surely visit again. If you're looking for good Sunday morning preaching...try Second...you won't be disappointed.
