Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office Administration Department is headquartered in Monroe, La. The department is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the sheriff's office internally. It offers services ranging from scheduling appointments for the sheriff and chief deputy officer to processing grant funds, accounts payable, payroll, assuring legal compliance, and computer operations. The division s services can be categorized as secretarial, accounting, purchasing, legal, financial and information. It additionally provides services for Sheriff's Fewell's open door policy and day-to-day regular office business, managing walk-in traffic of more than 30 people each day to over 100 phone calls daily. Ouachita Parish Sheriff also operates various other departments, such as civil, tax and court security, investigations, metro-narcotics, Ouachita correctional center, patrol, technical services, training and warrants.
