Started going here in the 80's. Everything ok for yrs., of course every so often prices increasing. Never had no problem with dental diagnoses and price to be done. However, after yrs. of being a loyal patient, I was done wrong on this matter. Was told of several things that needed to be done the next few weeks. Was told price of everything and even had print out of each one with price. Was going to schedule each one per month as I could afford it. On first one to be done was told 200.00 is what it would cost. I scheduled it to be done. After completing, I went to pay my bill and was told 460.00. I was shocked, and said this is not what I was told. Then, I was told he must have seen something else that needed to be done, What??? He had examined me 2 wks. prior and noted each thing that had to be done. Within 2 wks, an extra 260.00 had to be done??? Was not told of anything extra being done, not even warned with the 2 shots of numbing my mouth. I will not be going back, since then I have found out the prices were way over priced compared to other dental offices. I have never had dental Insurance and always have kept my teeth up as I could afford it. But, I was baited on this visit for an extra 260.00. I will keep all of my print outs of dental work to be done with pricing. When you are told, and then have price print out of dental work to be done, the proof is on paper. Check around before being baited in, I did, and found I could have saved a lot over the yrs. of going here. I paid 200.00 that day of service. I was prepared for that because that is what I was told. I done the right thing, Dr. Salter didn't. I did not have an extra 260.00 that day. I feel I do not owe an extra 260.00, and did not agreed to it. Maybe, the right thing will be done for me in this matter. DON'T BE BAITED IN ON TOLD PRICE WITH PRINT OUT OF 200.00 AND TOLD YOU OWE AN EXTRA 260.00, KEEP ALL YOUR PAPER WORK!!!!!!!
