        Pediatric Associates of Mobile was established in the 1950s. With more than 100 years combined experience, all of the physicians at Pediatric Associates are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.Nothing is as precious as the health of our children. Here at Pediatric Associates we understand that attending to your child's health can be worrisome and stressful. We welcome the opportunity to take care of your growing family.Our office is open seven days a week with convenient hours to better serve your needs. This includes holidays with the exception of Christmas Day. When the office is closed one of our physicians is on call and one of our knowledgeable telephone triage nurses will be available 24/7 to address concerns about your sick child.Through a series of routine wellness appointments we will help you evaluate your child's growth and development. We firmly support the current recommended vaccine schedule and will administer all necessary vaccines during these visits.

        Several weeks ago my mother had to take my 16 month old to his apt because I had a work conflict. She called to let me know there was a wreck blocking traffic and asked if I would call & inform the dr. office she was running behind. I did and was met with a receptionist that was immediately dismissive and had NO intention of letting my son get his very important immunizations. I was told Dr. Shearer would NOT see him and we would have to reschedule. My child was FIFTEEN MINUTES late…and I called to let them know! The office staff was there, the doctor was there, they were still seeing other patients, but for some reason my child could not be seen. I even asked if there was another doctor that could possibly see him. The only answers I got were NO, NO and NO. This is the SAME doctor’s office that rescheduled my son’s appointments THREE times in the past year. I moved my son and am very happy with his new ped.
