Happy Days Child Care

This is an old daycare, but its established. The asst. director and the whole staff, went above and beyond to make my children and I very welcome. We have just enrolled our children, and are very happy with the staff, and overall daycare!

I was presently surprised when I toured this school about two-three months ago. The school is located way back on a quiet private road. The playground is enormous with lots of shade. There are lots of things to do for the kids and there's a huge selection of playground equipment. I saw lots of smiling faces on the staffers. It felt really homey at this school. I ended up having my mother be a "Nanny Granny" for my kids so I didn't enroll them at the center, but I think I'll use Happy Days should the need arise.

Happy Days is a wonderful preschool and has an amazing after school program. Most of the teachers there have been not only working in child care for a long time but have been at Happy Days for years. The turnover rate is not high there. The staff is truly wonderful and loving to the children. Family owned and operated. The cook, miss Juanita, cooks healthy, homemade, nutritious, hot meals. The children really love going to Happy Days. They can walk into their classrooms in the mornings without any crying and have smiles on their faces at the end of the day. My kids love it there and some afternoons, don't want to leave. I love Happy Days!!

As a former employee, I saw a few things in my short stay, before I quit. Filthy bathrooms, uncovered light sockets. Very mean and agressive teachers. I'm not going to say too much but as a mother I would NEVER send my child to this daycare after what I saw. It just heart my heart to see the way the kids were being yelled at for even urinating on themselves while asleep, like they can help that. I just wasn't comfortable with what I saw.
