Reliant Physical Therapy

I walked in with TMJ, limited range of motion and pain in my neck and shoulders (with shooting pain above my right ear). After just one treatment, my neck and shoulders got immediate relief! After 3 treatments, my sharp shooting pain above my ear was gone. I'm confident that with "Advanced Soft Tissue Release," and my diligence in following the exercise program provided, I will son feel like new again. I highly recommend Dr Jacobs to anyone who has TMJ, shoulder or neck pain

After having 18 months of traditional physical therapy after two knee surgeries to replace my ACL, I was skeptical that anything more could be done to help my knee pain and stiffness. After just one visit, I was amazed with the results that Dr. Jacobs was able to produce with his Advanced Soft Tissue Release technique! He was very thorough, courteous, and helpful throughout the visit. He took the time to explain the technique to me and how it works. I was very impressed with how my knee responded and loosened up, especially since it has been two years since my original surgery. I went in a skeptic and now I'm a believer!

I have to take a moment to brag on Dr. Jacobs. Like many of Dr. Jacobs patients, I have a lot of issues with TMJ and chronic headaches. Ever since I started teaching, I have had an issue of grinding at night, due to stress. I have cracked molars in the past due to clenching/grinding and I wear a mouth guard at night. My first experience with Dr. J was incredible. Within only a few minutes of my first treatment, the pain levels and tightness in my jaw and neck went from an 8 to a 2. By the time I left my first appt, my pain was almost gone. I only had to see Dr. Jacobs a couple of times after that because the technique that he used on me worked so fast. When he first told me about the technique he developed, I was skeptical that it would help me because I had been to so many other PT's and they weren't able to relieve my pain. But his technique (ASTR) works so fast. I almost forgot to mention that his therapy is PAIN FREE. Exactly. Everyone knows that is hard to find. But it really is. He will tell you to let him know if you are in pain and he won't let you do any exercises that are painful. I love that about my therapy. Today was my last day with Dr. Jacobs and I am so happy (and sad:) to say goodbye to PT. If you have TMJ or headaches, please come see Dr.Jacobs. I know that you will not lose anything. He is a miracle worker and he is really a healer of pain.
